PURPOSE: A device for extracting the oriental medicine is provided to enhance the extracting effect by even distribution of the compression force and to prevent the oil or the foreign matter from becoming added to a porous container. CONSTITUTION: A device for extracting the oriental medicine is composed of an outer case(1), a lid(2), a heater(5), a compression plate(10), a connector(15), a motor(20), a rotating gear(23), and a screw axis(24). The compression plate is installed in the outer case. The compression plate comprises a handle(9). The compression plate is detachably connected with guide bars(11,11a). The lower part of the guide bar is connected to the connector. The motor is installed on the lower part of the heater. The motor comprises a driving gear(22). The driving gear is engaged with the rotating gear.
