INDAN DERIVATIVE CAPABLE OF CONTROLLING THE CULTIVATION OF FUSOBACTERIUM NUCLEATUM, AND A PREVENTIVE COMPOSITION FOR PERIODONTAL DISEASES USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: An indan derivative and a preventive composition for periodontal diseases using thereof are provided to effectively prevent the formation of plaque, and the generation of the bad breath caused by fusobacterium nucleatum.;CONSTITUTION: An indan derivative includes a structure marked with either chemical formula I or II. In the chemical formula 1, R1 and R2 are an alkyl group with 1~3 carbons, capable of being substituted with a hydroxyl group. A preventive composition for periodontal diseases contains the indan derivative, and a substrate or a carrier.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
