PURPOSE: A nitrate nitrogen reduction method using two metal nano null valence iron is provided to reduce the processing time of the high concentration nitrate nitrogen of the thousands part per million unit and prevent the second pollution of the processing water. CONSTITUTION: A reduction method of contaminant comprises as follows. A solvent in a surface offers a nano null valence iron(10). The nano null valence iron and nitrate nitrogen are contacted. The deionized water is mixed with the deionized water. Two metal nano null valence iron in which the metallic catalyst is fixed to the surface. The metallic catalyst is nickel(Ni), palladium(Pd) or copper(Cu). The reduction of the nitrate nitrogen operates in the reaction temperature of 5 degree ~ 35 degree. The concentration of the nitrate nitrogen is contained within the processing water from the hundreds ppm to several thousand ppm.
