PURPOSE: A system and a method for checking a train number for a train route control and a train number track are provided to prevent a route error of a train by controlling the route of the corresponding train after comparing the train number in the field with the train number of a control room.;CONSTITUTION: An image photographing device(10) photographs a front image of a train and includes a train approach sensor. An image processor(20) extracts the train number in the field from the front image of the train. A train number image processor includes an input and output unit, a storage, and an integrated circuit for a digital signal process. A management system server(30) determines the route of the train by comparing the filed information data with the information data from a linear information display device(40).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
