PURPOSE: An optical cable holder, a fuse-connecting device including the holder, and a fuse-connecting method using the holder are provided to easily place optical cables to the main body of the holder by contacting the external end of the optical cables with a location determining surface.;CONSTITUTION: The main body of a holder(22) contains the core-wire of optical fibers through a core-wire containing recess and contains the exposed part of the optical fibers through a skin holder. A core-wire maintaining unit(31) pressurizes and maintains the core-wire of the optical fibers contained in the core-wire containing recess.
