TRAFFIC CARD SYSTEM USING A BODY SENSOR, CAPABLE OF PREVENTING BORROWING OF A FREE TRAFFIC CARD

PURPOSE: A traffic card system using a body sensor is provided to confirm that a traffic card owner is the same as a user, thereby preventing usage by another person in case of card loss.;CONSTITUTION: A card issuing system(230) issues a card based on biometric information and a unique number. A traffic card(300) stores and senses the biometric information. The traffic card compares the stored biometric information with the sensed biometric information. A host server(200) transmits the biometric information, card issuance related information, and card operation information to card terminals. If a user touches a traffic card, the card terminals transmit a determination result on whether a card is used to the traffic card.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
