PURPOSE: A UWB(Ultra Wide Band)-based tag position estimation system and a method thereof are provided to locate the position of tags outside by using a UWB-based portable pedestrian location checking system.;CONSTITUTION: A first antenna(140) receives a response signal regarding a search signal from a tag. A turntable(150) rotates the first antenna. A first RF chip(110) processes the response signal which is received through the first antenna. A first controller(120) checks the location information of the tag by receiving the response signal which is processed from the first RF chip.
