THERMOELECTRIC ELEMENT USING A METAL THIN PLATE, CAPABLE OF IMPROVING A COOLING AND HEATING PERFORMANCE

PURPOSE: A thermoelectric element using a metal thin plate is provided to improve life-expectancy by reducing the generation of fine cracks due to the difference of thermal tension between thermoelectric semiconductor pellet and an adhesive base metal.;CONSTITUTION: A thermoelectric element includes p-type and n-type thermoelectric semiconductor pellets(12) and a metal thin plate. The metal thin plate is coated with an electric insulating material. An electric contact point(13) is formed on the metal thin plate. The p-type and n-type thermoelectric semiconductor pellets are formed on the electric contact point. A ceramic plate is welded on the opposite side of the p-type and n-type thermoelectric semiconductor pellets.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
