A method for screening extended-spectrum beta-lactamase-producing strain is provided to improve the screening efficiency by using high sensitive 3-aminophenyl boronic acid showing high water solubility due to 4 hydrogen donors and 3 hydrogen ion receptors. The method for screening extended-spectrum beta-lactamase-producing strain comprises the steps of: preparing the plate containing culture medium; inoculating the test strain to the plate; placing the first disk containing antibiotics, clavulanic acid and 3-aminophenylboric acid and the second disk containing only antibiotics on the inoculated plate and culturing it at 33-37 deg. C for 16-18 hours; and determining the beta-lactamase-producing strain when the inhibition zone of the first disk is more than 5mm bigger than that of the second disk.
