PURPOSE: A defect detecting device of a booth duct system and a fail detecting method are provided to execute the remote fault diagnosis by detecting the defect in real time.;CONSTITUTION: A defect detecting device of a booth duct system is composed of an upper duct(11), a lower duct(13), and a side duct(15). The upper duct and the lower duct are arranged at the fixed interval to be corresponded to each other. Plural booth bars(17) are installed in the space formed by the upper duct, the lower duct, and the side duct. A contact unit(10a) is projected to both ends of the each booth bar to be contacted to a booth duct(10). Plural temperature detection units are attached to the contact unit to detect the temperature. The electric current detector detects the arc signal and excess current of the contact unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
