SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING ORTHO IMAGE USING TIFF FORMAT OF DEM-TIFF AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A DEM-TIFF image production system and a method thereof are provided to realize a 3D coordinate extraction and a 3D visualization at the same time by enabling one TIFF file to include an orthoimage and numerical data. CONSTITUTION: A DEM(Digital Elevation Model)-TIFF(Tagged Image File Format) designer(100) generates a DEM-TIFF data structure for additionally registering a personal tag to an aerial photo of a TIFF format. A DEM-TIFF maker(200) generates a TIFF format orthoimage and a DEM based on the DEM-TIFF data structure and generates a DEM-TIFF orthoimage by mixing the orthoimage and the DEM. A DEM-TIFF viewer(300) stores the DEM-TIFF orthoimage and displays to the screen. A 3D visualizer(400) changes the DEM-TIFF orthoimage to a 3D image and displays it.
