EMBLEM CONTROL DEVICE OF A VEHICLE WHICH CAN MOVE AN EMBLEM TO THE LOWER SIDE AND UPPER SIDE OF A FRONT HOOD

PURPOSE: An emblem control device of a vehicle is provided to prevent damage to a human body which crashes to the vehicle due to the emblem which upward protrudes from the upper surface of a front hood.;CONSTITUTION: An emblem control device of a vehicle comprises an emblem(11), a brake pedal measurement unit(13) and a control module(14). The emblem is installed on the fixed position of the front hood. The emblem detects the operation state of the brake pedal and generates a braking signal. The control module judges whether it is the quick braking or not based on the brake movement time calculated based on the braking signal. If it is quick braking, the braking module generates a driving signal for controlling the emblem. An actuator drives according to the control signal of the control module. The actuator transfers the emblem projected to the upper side of the front hood to the lower surface of the front hood.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
