METHOD FOR CONFIGURING OF LOW-RATE WIRELESS PERSONAL AREA NETWORK SUPPORTING HETEROGENEOUS MODULATION AND DEMODULATION SCHEMES

An LR-WPAN(Low Rate-Wireless Personal Area Network) constructing method adopting a favorable modulation system among heterogeneous modulation/demodulation systems is provided to compose network efficiently by using an efficient modulation method according to the application of network in low frequency band of LR-WPAN. A beacon frame is modulated by using one of heterogeneous modulation method in a beacon cycle. A coordinator transmits the beacon frame(506). A network connection request of a device is determined by waiting the transmission of the next beacon in the selected modulation method(510). If there is no connection request, the beacon frame modulated into the other modulation/demodulation system is transmitted(512). If there is a connection request, the coordinator responses the connection request and determines the selected modulation/demodulation method as a transmission/reception method(516).
