STATURE MEASURING DEVICE AND STATURE MEASURING METHOD

PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring a height are provided to prevent a measurement error by measuring the height when contacting the head of a user with a body. CONSTITUTION: A bobbin is rotatably received in a bobbin receiver of a body(100). One end of a tape(300) is wound around the bobbin. The other side of the tape is exposed to the outside of the body. A fixing unit(200) is combined with the other side of the tape. The fixing unit is fixed to the wall of a building. A movement distance measuring unit measures the movement distance of the tape. A reference setting switch generates a reference point setting signal. A controller determines the final movement distance of the tape as the height.
