A technique for culturing photosynthetic bacteria which contains eco-friendly organo selenium is provided to produce high quality of agricultural product without any other process of washing or generation of waste water. A composition of Van Niel's medium for culturing photosynthetic bacteria contains 10g of yeast extract, 1.0g of K2HPO4, and 0.5g of MgSO4 per 1 liter of medium. The cultures of photosynthetic bacterial containing organo selenium is produced by mixing and sterilizing medium composition and selenium supply source or adding sterilized selenium supply source and culturing. The selenium supply source is one or more selected among selenium salt or organo selenium.
