LIGHTING DEVICE USING RAINWATER AND SUNLIGHT IN THE PARK OF A NEWLY BUILT URBAN COMMUNITY AREA

PURPOSE: A lighting device is provided to generate electricity for a lamp and a directional sign by using the torque of a water turbine and the solar energy of a photovoltaic module.;CONSTITUTION: A plurality of lamps(3) and a plurality of directional signs(5) are installed in a park. An actuating unit(20) comprises a support stand, a storage tank, an artificial channel, a water turbine, and pumping equipment. A photovoltaic module is installed in the exterior of the support stand. The storage tank stores rainwater. The water turbine is rotated by rainwater from the storage tank. The pumping equipment transfers rainwater through the pipe to the storage tank. A control unit(30) is installed in one side of the actuating unit. The control unit generates electricity by using the torque from the water turbine and the photovoltaic module in addition to electricity from solar energy.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
