A method for producing a plant from a microspore embryo of Capsicum annuum L. is provided to obtain a plurality of plants from a microspore and develop haploid breeding, microspore transformation, and microspore mutation. A plant from a microspore embryo of Capsicum annuum L. is produced transplanting and culturing cotyledonary embryo in specific redifferntiation medium. When redifferentiating, a solid medium of which sucrose concentration is decreased and which growth regulation material is not added is used. MS medium is used for wheat and barley, IMR medium is used for barley and 1/2 MS medium is used for Brassica campestris. The immature embryo of seed leaf is transplanted with 3-4 weeks old embryo after culturing the microspore. The redifferentiation medium is in a container of redifferentiation which is 10x4 cm.
