PURPOSE: A method and a system for investing online shopping payment money in a financial product are provided to use a time difference between a buying time point and a delivery time point, thereby investing payment money in a financial product. CONSTITUTION: A server receives selection information of a product(S410). The server transmits at least one time gap investment information to a buying client(S420). The server receives order information(S430). The server transmits payment request information corresponding to the order information(S440). The server transmits the order information by communication information saved as seller information. The server uses the time gap investment information to transfer part or all of payment money.
