The system automatically revalues the shares in a fund at regular intervals. Each value (3) is compared with the previous value (2), to determine an increase (5) or decrease (6). In either case a proportion of the change is subtracted and added (12) or subtracted (13) from a cash reserve. The system for revaluing investment funds reduces the vulnerability of the fund to volatility of stack market share values.
