KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND ITS METHOD BASED ON PATTERN NETWORK

PURPOSE: A KMS(Knowledge Management System) based on a pattern network for offering an information search service of a P2P(Peer-to-Peer) type and a method thereof are provided to offer the P2P typed information search service by forming a hierarchical server system in the KMS and making an upper server manage the pattern network connected to the pattern network of each client. CONSTITUTION: The lowest server(15,16) update the pattern network by collecting pattern network update information from the clients(11-14), and offer a search result to the client by searching the pattern network for an information search request from a middle server(17). The middle server hierarchically connects the lowest and the highest server(18), updates the pattern network by collecting the update information from the lowest server, and transfers the search request to the lowest server by searching the pattern network for the search request form the highest server. The highest server updates the pattern network by collecting the update information from the middle server and transfers the search request from the client to the middle server by searching the pattern network.
