PURPOSE: A compact monopole antenna for a dual band is provided to simplify a structure by omitting a ground surface through direct contact with a connector. CONSTITUTION: A compact monopole antenna(100) for a dual band includes a substrate(101), a main radiation part(110), a sub radiation part(130), and a connector contact part(120). The substrate is made of dielectric material. The main radiation part is formed on a top surface of the substrate with a meander shape, and is extended into a top direction. The sub radiation part has a horizontal part and a vertical part. The horizontal part is horizontally extended in the main radiation part according to a direction intersected with an extension direction of the main radiation part. The vertical part is extended from an end part of the horizontal part to a top direction. The connector contact part is formed in a bottom part of the main radiation part, and is contacted with a connector.
