METHOD OF MOTION ESTIMATION BY USING ADAPTIVE EXPANDED BLOCK BASED ON FRAME-DIFFERENCE

A method for estimating motion using an adaptive expand type block based on a frame difference is provided to largely reduce an operation amount by reducing the number of blocks which can be targets for motion estimation by using a frame difference. A block in which motion estimation is necessary is determined by using a difference value between continuous frames(S110). A motion vector among the continuous frames is produced by using an adaptive expand block(S130). An interpolation image is configured by using the calculated motion vector(S140).
