PURPOSE: A hydraulic metering pump is provided to enhance discharge performance by automatically hydraulic fluid even in an abnormal operation due to hydraulic fluid shortage.;CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic metering pump comprises a hydraulic fluid chamber(20), a head unit(10), a plunger(30), a diaphragm(40), a refill valve assembly(50). The hydraulic fluid chamber comprises a first chamber(21) receiving hydraulic fluid through a supply passage and a second chamber(23) connected to the first chamber to receive the hydraulic fluid. The head unit is connected to the second chamber and comprises a fluid intake part and a fluid discharge part. The plunger receives the driving force from a driving motor to make reciprocating movement in the first chamber to discharge the hydraulic fluid to the second chamber. The diaphragm is installed at the second chamber and is selectively deformed toward the hydraulic fluid chamber according to the operation of the plunger. The refill valve assembly comprises a connecting passage(52) selectively connecting the second chamber and the supply passage. A plurality of check valves are installed at the connecting passage. The check valves receive the abnormal pressure of the second chamber and then opens the connecting passage to supply hydraulic fluid.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
