Sets of primers and TaqMan MGB probes for real-time PCR-based assays to measure gene expressions of 9 salt stress-responsive genes in Populus species

A primer and probe set of real time PCR (polymerase chain reaction) for the quantitation of gene expression of salt stress reaction of Populus sp. are provided to measure mRNA which is expressed in a gene related to the salt stress. A set of gene expression analysis comprises a primer set containing the sequences 1(SEQ ID NO:1) and 2, and a probe which is labeled with FAM in the sequence 3. A gene which is related to salt stress reaction of Populus sp. comprises: dehydrin, amino acid permease alternative oxidase; ethylene-responsive element-binding factor; galactinol synthase; 4-hydroxy phenylpyruvate dioxygenase; leucoanthocyanidin dioxygenase-like protein; transcription factor like protein; and putative zinc finger protein gene.
