PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing carbon-coated active electrode materials with humic acid for lithium batteries is provided to improve rechargeable cycle characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing carbon-coated active electrode materials with humic acid for lithium batteries comprises the following steps of: synthesizing LiFePO4 from the precursors consisting of Fe(OOCCH3), (NH4)2HPO4, and LiOHH2O; adding humic acid to LiFePO4 and inducing solid-phase reaction to obtain carbon-coated LiFePO4; calcining the carbon-coated LiFePO4 at 300C~400C for 4-6 hours and 750C~850C for 11-13 hours under reduction atmosphere; re-calcining LiFePO4 at 750C~850C for 11-13 hours under the reduction atmosphere; and uniformly mixing the calcined LiFePO4 and adding binder and graphite to the carbon-coated active electrode materials.
