A method of reserved watching and recording in a multi-unit digital satellite broadcast receiver is provided to make it easy to set the reserved watching and recording of each subordinate unit by setting the reserved watching and recording of all subordinate units in one subordinate unit and transmitting information on the reserved watching and recording to a corresponding subordinate unit through a main unit. A subordinate unit sets reserved watching or reserved recording of each subordinate unit through a menu picture. Information on the set reserved watching and recording of each subordinate unit is transmitted to a main unit. The main unit transmits the information to a corresponding subordinate unit. The main unit periodically transmits information of a current time to each subordinate unit. The subordinate unit compares the information of the current time with the information thereon so as to determine whether it is time of the set reserved watching and recording. The subordinate unit asks the main unit for a reserved channel. The subordinate unit displays and records a program of a channel received from the main unit.
