PURPOSE: A swine feed additive using functional materials and a method of breeding swine using same are improve carcass characteristics, meat quality characteristics and productivity of pork by feeding the additive to a pig. CONSTITUTION: A swine feed additive is manufactured by mixing 0.3~0.6 weight% of stevia and 0.3~0.6 weight% of charcoal based on a normal swine feed additive. The stevia has particle size of 100 mesh. The particle size of the charcoal is 1 mm. The pig is fed with the swine feed additive including the stevia 3 ~ 6 kg and the charcoal 3 ~ 6 kg based on the normal swine feed additive 1000 kg.
