MOBILE AUGMENTED REALITY SYSTEM FOR INTERACTION WITH 3D VIRTUAL OBJECTS AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A mobile augmented reality system capable of interaction with 3D virtual objects and a method thereof are provided to generate a 3D virtual object based on feature points of a hand, thereby enabling a user to access 3D virtual contents anywhere and anytime. CONSTITUTION: An image processor(220) uses a camera(210) of a terminal to generate a 3D(Dimensional) virtual object on a hand. A display unit(240) outputs the images of the hand and the 3D virtual object. An interaction unit(230) controls the 3D virtual object correspondingly to motion of the hand. The image processor includes a hand area detecting unit, a pose determining unit and a virtual object renderer.
