PURPOSE: An earthquake-proof reinforcement structure and a construction method thereof are provided to minimize the installation space and improve the earthquake energy absorbing performance. CONSTITUTION: An earthquake-proof reinforcement structure comprises anchorages(6), a plurality of braces(4), a first plate(3) and a second plate. The anchorages are fixed opposite to each other along the interior sides of horizontal and vertical beams of a frame(1). The braces are fixed to the anchorages to be arranged in the diagonal direction. The first plate fix the braces to a masonry wall(2) diagonally. The second plate is interposed between the masonry wall and the first plate.
