How to perform authentication, access attempts, and virtual random number generation

PURPOSE: A method for performing authentication, access attempt, and virtual random number generations is provided to use another parameters such as pseudo-ESN parameters instead of an ESN when an MEID(Mobile Equipment Identifier) is used to distinguish an MS(Mobile Station), thereby performing authentication, access attempt, and virtual random number generations with the parameters. CONSTITUTION: A pseudo-ESN is generated by using an identifier assigned to one or more than one of MSs and BSs. A specific request value created from the generated pseudo-ESN is transmitted to a BS/system. The identifier for generating the pseudo-ESN includes an MEID. The pseudo-ESN is generated in 32 bits by mapping the MEID having 56 bits. The identifier for generating the pseudo-ESN includes at least one of an MAC ID, a base ID, and a pilot pseudo noise sequence offset index.
