On Access Attempt Delay with Channel-Adaptive Random Access

摘要

In this letter, the pdf of access attempt delay of channel-adaptive random access is derived from that of fade duration of a frequency-flat fading channel. The mean and the variance of access attempt delay are also computed using the moments of fade duration.
