System and method for detecting and automatically breaking fire and emergency in tunnel

PURPOSE: A system of automatically informing a fire and emergency situations inside a tunnel is provided to allow a user to rapidly manage a fire and emergency situation which are generated in the tunnel. CONSTITUTION: A tunnel situation sensing device includes an infrared camera and a CCD camera and takes a picture of the inside of tunnel. The tunnel situation sensing device analyzes a captured image and determines whether a fire occurs to transmit the captured image to a control room terminal. The control desk terminal(200) outputs the captured image which is transmitted from the tunnel situation sensing device through an output unit.
