Row-splitting Algorithm for lowering the code rate maintaining the block length

摘要

A row splitting method lowering a code rate while maintaining a block length is provided to lower the code rate by spitting the rows of a main LDPC matrix. A central splitting method splits the 1 remaining in the row to be split and the 1 transferred on the newly generated row around the number of 1s. An alternative splitting method splits the 1 remaining in the row to be split and the 1 transferred on the newly generated row by dividing the position of the 1 into an odd position and an even position. An arbitrary splitting method splits the 1 remaining in the row and the 1 transferred on the newly generated row by selecting half of the number of 1s in the row to be split at random.
