FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely immunology, and can be used for prevention of recurrence and treatment of herpes virus infections. Method is implemented as follows. In remission period, synthetic dipeptide gamma-D-glutamyl-L-tryptophan is introduced intranasally in a dose 50-100 mcg daily within 7-10 days.
