FIELD: transport.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building. Proposed method consists in that rear-write-store device connected to hydrodynamic component memorises characteristics curve describing desired mode of hydrodynamic component or required field of characteristics. Every working point is correlated with required control effect that serves to establish actual true characteristic curve, selected from operating parametres describing hydrodynamic component separate states, and is compared with preset required characteristic curve or field of characteristics for every working point. If required control effect for appropriate working point falls beyond preset range of tolerable magnitudes, it is subjected to readjustment for actual preset magnitude to be taken for a new preset magnitude to be entered into memory as a required control effect.;EFFECT: improved performances with no notable design modifications.;12 cl, 5 dwg
