FIELD: physics.;SUBSTANCE: material with pores of controlled size and shape is made in form of a fragment of polymer hole-assisted fibre or hole-assisted fibre based on quartz glass, or photon-crystalline fibre. Pore size can vary from nanometres to several micrometres or more, and the shape of the cross section of the pore can vary from circular or elipsoidal, or triangular, to star shaped.
