FIELD: physics.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to investigating seismic environment on the ground and under water. The seismic station consists of apparatus installed on dry land or in water, having seismometres, and standalone apparatus for picking up and analysing signals. The station has a sealed spherical housing on the diametre of which there is a ring insertion linked through an external gimbal suspension to two arms. The arms are mounted on a base plate and provide vertical position of the axis of the housing which coincides with the vertical axis of the platform placed inside the housing. On the platform there is at least one cylindrical cup on which there are seismometre components and an electronics module. The platform is linked to two gear motors which provide leveling of the seismometre axes on x and y axes within the limits of ±2°. Inside the housing there is a microcontroller for setting operation modes of the seismometres and recording seismic information and an accumulator battery. In the top part of the housing there is a removable protective cover under which there is a plug connection.;EFFECT: wider field of use.;3 cl, 2 dwg
