FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry and can be used in production of mineral salts. An aqueous solution of a mixture of potassium nitrate and magnesium chloride is heated until dissolution of the solid phase, where content of the mixture of magnesium nitrate and potassium chloride in the aqueous solution is 48.0-52.0 wt % mass ratio KCl:Mg(NO3)2 is in the range (41.5-47.0):(53.0-58.5) respectively. The obtained mixture is cooled to temperature close to room temperature in order to crystallise potassium nitrate which is then separated from the mother solution through filtration. The mother solution is evaporated until formation of a dihydrate of magnesium chloride and the remaining mother solution which is saturated with magnesium nitrate is used to prepare the initial mixture.;EFFECT: invention enables to obtain potassium nitrate and magnesium chloride in a closed cycle.;2 dwg, 1 tbl, 3 ex
