FIELD: power industry.;SUBSTANCE: bench includes solid-fuel gas generator and variable cross section gas duct, which are interconnected. Gas duct includes transient section with standard profile, measuring section of constant section with investigated material and thermocouples installed in it and nozzle cluster for release of gases to environment. Nozzle cluster is made in the form of shell with side symmetrically located outlet openings. At the shell bottom there axisymmetrically installed is Pitot-Prandtl tube with pitot pressure gauge the section of which is located in perpendicular plane passing through the axis of hole made in the wall of measuring gas duct with static pressure sensor located after the investigated material. Thermocouple is installed at the shell bottom. Between gas generator and gas duct of variable cross section there installed is prechamber with thermally resistant diaphragm with perforation separating the prechamber and gas duct of variable cross section. Surface area of diaphragm perforation, ratio of surface area of outlet openings to section area of measuring gas duct, distance from gas generator nozzle section to diaphragm, length of transient gas duct section and diametre of prechamber are determined with ratios protected with the present invention.;EFFECT: invention allows obtaining accurate results during tests on carryover and coking of heat-protective materials.;1 dwg
