FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: claimed is method of predicting excess scarring after antiglaucoma operations. In tear fluid of patients with primary open-angle glaucoma concentration of IL-17 is determined and logarithmic speed of its changing is calculated by formula: where ΔlgCn is logarithmic speed of IL-17 concentration changing, Cn is concentration of IL-17 at given moment of time, Cn-1 is concentration of IL-17 determined during previous measuring, tn is given moment of time, tn-1 is moment, previous to measuring.
