The insert (1) has a spreading opening (26) provided on a side of the insert, where the insert is made of rubber elastic material. A ring body (2) is defined for making contact to an inner side of a pipe shell (30). Contact elements (3, 4, 5) are defined for contact to the pipes. Recesses (13, 14, 15) are provided between the ring body and the contact elements. A bar (19) lies on both sides of the spreading opening. Other bars (16, 17) are separated from each other by the recesses e.g. slots, which are passed into the ring body. The contact elements are connected with the body over the bars. An independent claim is also included for a pipe fastening arrangement comprising a pipe shell and a fastening part.
