The case has a case body (1), and a movement holder (6) arranged in an interior space of the case body. An elastic sealing element forms a tight connection between the case body and a watch-glass (2) or between a case base (3) and the case body. The movement holder is movably retained at the sealing element with respect to the case body, such that strokes and vibration acting on the case body do not transmitted to the movement holder. The watch-glass rests on the sealing element in a resting position, where a damping path of the watch-glass amounts to 0.2 mm.
