The splint has an upper jaw part and a lower jaw part covering a common dental arch and gingiva or a front tooth portion. The splint is gripped into a vestibular oral environment until folding upper and lower jaws. A palate is detected in a palatinal part of the upper jaw. A lingual part of the lower jaw is detected, where the splint is made of hard rubber i.e. thermoplastic, and plastic such as elastomer, hard thermoplastic, soft thermoplastic, shellac, natural polymer and polymerizate. A metal reinforcement part is engaged as an intermediate layer. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an animal jaw treatment splint.
