Method of the damping body vibrations, in particular of hull stern - vibrations, of a support surfaces of aircraft, comprising the steps of:– by means of a sensor device (10; 10a, 10b) detect induced by external vibration excitation of the aircraft fuselage - or hull stern - vibrations of the fuselage or hull stern, and transmission of corresponding sensor signals to a control device (24),– by means of a control algorithm of the control device (24) generating (12) of control signals (28) of piezoactuators (12), of which in each case at least one with respect to a corresponding hull means line opposite sides of the fuselage or hull stern or of a hull reinforcement part of the same is located, wherein each of a piezo-actuator by means of a joining process on the inner or outer surface of the fuselage as well as the applied or hull stern or in the form of plates - or fibrous structure in the aircraft fuselage or the hull stern is integrated, wherein the drive signals (28) are formed in such a way that the piezoactuators (12) respectively in phase opposition to the vibrations are deflected, and wherein said on both sides of the fuselage or hull stern or of a hull reinforcement part which is located at the piezoactuators (12) is driven in opposite directions.
