Preparing crosslinkable preparations (I), comprises: (a) reacting alpha , omega -bifunctional organic polymers (I) with organofunctional silane compound (II) in the presence of catalysts (A) comprising potassium, iron, indium or copper compounds, to obtain organyloxysilylterminated polymers (P1); and (b) mixing (P1) with a silane condensation catalyst (B) e.g. aminopropyltrimethoxysilane, acid catalysts (D) e.g. phosphoric acid and optionally other substances (C) to obtain (I), which is free of organic tin compounds. Preparing crosslinkable preparations (I), comprises: (a) reacting alpha , omega -bifunctional organic polymers of formula (X-A-X) (I) with organofunctional silane compound of formula (Y 1-R-Si-(R 1) m-(-OR 2) 3-m) (II) in the presence of catalysts (A) comprising potassium, iron, indium or copper compounds, to obtain organyloxysilylterminated polymers (P1); and (b) mixing (P1) with a silane condensation catalyst (B), acid catalysts (D) and optionally other substances (C) to obtain (I), which is free of organic tin compounds, where: (B) comprises aminopropyltrimethoxysilane, aminoethylaminopropyltrimethoxysilane, aminopropyltriethoxysilane or aminoethyl aminopropyltriethoxysilane; and (D) is organic carboxylic acids, phosphoric acid or its ester, acid chlorides or hydrochlorides. R : optionally substituted divalent 1-12C hydrocarbon, which may be interrupted with heteroatoms; R 1, R 21-12C monovalent hydrocarbon (optionally substituted and interrupted with heteroatoms); A : divalent hydrocarbon group with at least 6C, which may be interrupted with heteroatoms; X : OH or isocyanate; Y 1OH, isocyanate or primary or secondary amino group; and m : 0-2, preferably 0 or 1.
