Preferred Features: The colored reference fields are printed on the same support material (11) which supports the dye. An indicator field (2) has a scale with short and long marks (42) equally spaced apart. The marks extend from outside the dye into the region covered by the dye. The support material is produced in a thermal transfer process or in a thermal direct printing process.
