The lamp has a ceramic carrier plate as a chip (5) with a surface of maximally 16 centimeter square, and punctiform high-performance LEDS fastened on the carrier plate. The LEDS are arranged in parallel on the carrier plate. The LEDS are regulated in luminous intensity and controlled by separate channels, where color shade of the light radiation is adjustable. Color temperature is adjustable in a range from approximately 2000 Kelvin to 8000 Kelvin. An aspherical or spherical lens is arranged for scattering and/or bundling of the light radiation before the lamp. An independent claim is also included for a device for street lighting.
