The mounting aid has a carrier (5) provided with a roller having pivoted bogie rotated around 360 degrees. A retainer is provided in the pivoted bogie, in which a telescopic suspension pole (35) is inserted in a flange (13), which is supported in the suspension pole by an adjustable and tiltable support (12). The support is formed into two-piece, and has a salient (36). A lift (11) is relocatably provided in the flange. A breadth and the height of the mounting aid are measured, such that the mounting aid is driven in mounting condition, i.e. prepared by a building opening. An independent claim is included for a method for assembling the mounting aid.
