The system (20) has a coolant circuit, where the system uses waste heat for heating a cleaning liquid e.g. windscreen wiper water. The cleaning liquid is provided for heating a windscreen wiper (40). A temperature control device (14) obtains the cleaning liquid from a precursor liquid using a filtering process or by using condensation of an environment air or air obtained from a passenger compartment (16) and a cargo compartment (18). A container (24) is provided in the control device for storing the cleaning liquid. A heat exchanger (22) heats the cleaning liquid. An independent claim is also included for a method for providing a heated fluid.
