The slat (1) has a hollow profile section (9) and an elongate wall extending in a longitudinal direction of the slat. The elongate wall forms a longitudinal side of the profile section, where the slat is formed by shaping a steel plate section. The profile section has a connecting section aligned below an angle opposite to the elongate wall. Another connecting section is connected with the former connecting section, and is supported at the elongate wall. A folding section is formed at the latter connecting section, and is firmly connected with the wall.
